With the second lockdown closing seating areas of bars, restaurants and cafes in the town at the beginning of the year, many moved to takeout and click and collect only.
However, on Monday, April 12, outdoor seating areas were finally allowed to reopen – and here are 8 of the best places to enjoy brunch with friends and family, or on your own (we are not judging) in Burnley over the next few weeks.
1. Continentals
Al Fresco dining just outside Burnley Town Centre! A journey of delicious flavours from all over the Mediterranean. Open Monday - Saturday, 10:00am to 3:00pm
2. Little Barista Coffee Shop
Locally run coffee shop the Little Barista reopened its doors and outside seating area on April 12. They're open 08.30am - 5.30pm
3. Cosy Coffee
Cosy Coffee have erected a large marquee outside their town centre store so customers can enjoy a drink and some food no matter the weather, they're open 07.30am - 5:00pm
4. The Boot Inn
The Boot Inn reopened along with all other JD Wetherspoon pubs with outdoor spaces on April 12. The pub chain, which is open daily, is currently operating a reduced menu.
