Based in the former Oriental Buffet in Bethesda Street, Playa Player is child and dog friendly.
Bar manager Rachel Boys said: “We believe this is something that Burnley has needed for some time so we decided to build it and the people have come.”
Showing all major sporting events the venue also serves food and has an arcade and games and darts area.
Boasting authentic sports and music memorabilia on display from the likes of Tyson Fury, Oasis, Tony Bellew and Anthony Joshua, Rachel added: “If anyone has a sporting event they want to watch just let us know and we can put it on for you.
“We are on the edge of the town centre but we believe that as we are offering something completely new to the town people are willing to come and support us.!
