And it seems it did not take children long to settle into their new routines following government guidelines. Regular hand washing, application of hand sanitizer and playing within zone areas are just some examples of the "norm" of today at the Dunsop Bridge School and children have taken it all on board with ease.
Thorneyholme pupils are enjoying being able to socialise once again with their friends and these new routines are not hindering this.

Hide AdDeputy headteacher, Olga Jackson, commented: "Every day the school takes advantage of its rural location and physical exercise has been in the form of walking and jogging along the local tracks and fields.
"Daily learning has often taken place outdoors, with curriculum and forest learning activities within their local Black Forest Plantation, just a couple of minutes walk up from the school.
"On the grounds of the school, scientific learning of living things has allowed pupils to make a wormery and observe developments within a bird’s nest; bug habitats have been monitored and findings recorded, as well as the classification of plants.
"With the modern technology of today, the pupils are able to stay connected to their other friends who are still homeschooling and they are able to participate in digital learning challenges."
