Special video message of support from Clarets favourite Jay Rodriguez a highlight of Burnley's Got Talent
and live on Freeview channel 276
The popular player, affectionately known as Jay Rod, has wished everyone luck in the special video message a day before the contest launches tomorrow night.
Jay Rod joins a host of stars who have got on board with the competition, including Burnley's cricketing legend James Anderson and Alastair Campbell, a well known Clarets fan and former press secretary to Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair who even serenaded Burnley folk by playing the bagpipes.
Legendary DJ Judge Jules, former Burnley FC player Andy Payton, England women's footballer Rachel Brown-Finnis, Lancashire and England cricketer Alex Hartley and Celebrity Big Brother star Keiran Lee who lives in Burnley have also backed the competition.
And with 64 people signed up to take part and £1,891 raised for the NHS, the event is already a runaway success.
The idea of best pals Shelly Heap and Justine Lorriman, the duo set up a group on facebook which now has almost 5,000 members.
And they will all be tuning in online tomorrow night when every contestant, who is being asked to pay £5 to enter, will be asked to post their video onto the Burnley's Got Talent facebook page.
The top 20 with the most likes will go through to the next round followed the top 10 in the third round and the top five in the final.
And, along with £200 prize money, the winner will also get the chance to perform at Burnley Live music festival later this year.
