New REEL Cinema Burnley opens its doors: Where to see the latest Hollywood and South Asian blockbusters
Movie-lovers are in for a treat as REEL Cinemas opens its new purpose built cinema at Pioneer Place, Curzon Street.
With laser projection and digital audio across all seven screens, a licensed bar, and a premium option for plush sofas and armchairs, this new Burnley cinema will offer Hollywood and South Asian films at unrivalled prices.
As an inclusive cinema, they will also offer community afternoon screenings, weekly autism-friendly screenings in a more relaxed setting, weekly hard-of-hearing screenings and a hugely popular student ticket night, with a two for one offer on a Thursday.
There will be regular movie quiz nights too, making this a must-go destination for a dream night out.
Don’t forget the snacks!
Whether you love popcorn and pop, nachos, pick & mix, ice blasts, ice cream, or an alcoholic tipple, there’s something to suit everyone at REEL Cinema.
And with four hours of free parking for cinema ticket holders at the nearby carpark, getting there couldn’t be easier.
Opening weekend
REEL Cinema opens on Saturday, September 8, with plenty of entertainment and offers on top. Star Wars cosplayers, The 99th Garrison, will be there on the day, and there’s a special sing along screening of The Greatest Showman.
Cinema-goers who wear your Burnley FC shirt on the Sunday of the opening weekend will even get a free scoop of REEL ice cream.
Why go to REEL
Founder of REEL Cinemas K.C. Suri said: “REEL Cinemas has been serving the local community in and around Burnley for over ten years, and while we will be sad to say ‘goodbye’ to our current location at Manchester Road we are very much looking forward to moving into our brand new home in the centre of town, especially at a time when films such as ‘Barbie’, ‘Oppenheimer’ and Disney/Pixar’s ‘Elemental’ have shown that a trip to your local cinema is once again a hugely popular choice amongst people of all ages.”
Director of REEL Cinemas Sunil Suri added “This new REEL Cinema furtherreinforces our commitment to the people of Burnley, and our ambition to bring the luxury cinema-going experience to audiences outside of the UK’s major cities, without the high admission price that usually accompanies it. We are looking forward to introducing customers to our new cinema over the coming weeks and months, and are confident that the autumn and winter release schedule – which currently includes such films as the return of Kenneth Branagh’s Poirot in ‘A Haunting In Venice’, ‘Trolls Band Together’, ‘Dune Part Two’ and ‘Wonka” - offers something for everyone.”
