A day at the zoo proved to be a real winner for a group of Lancashire youngsters. Children from St Andrew's Primary School, Blackpool Road, Preston, have just been given a special award from the World Wildlife Fund for their outstanding efforts in a sponsored walk. A representative from the organisation came to St Andrew's School with a special shield which will now take pride of place in the main hall

A soccer club which encourages youngsters to take up cricket held its first awards presentation.
