5. Heasandford, 1971
The Mayor (centre front) holds the junior section trophy which young cyclists at the school have won six times in succession. 6. Howard Street Nursery, 1971
Teenage boys, volunteers from Coal Clough Special School, transformed a waste area at Howard Street Nursery School into a kiddies' paradise. 8. St Peter's Church School, 1971
