This area was once a bustling mecca for shoppers, but has seen a downturn in recent years, with many buildings being boarded over and some even demolished. Our final picture shows another pub which is classed as a Listed Building, and it is Ye Olde Blue Bell, which opened in 1716, and is thought by many to be the oldest public house that still serves ale to this day in Preston.
