Padiham schoolboy tickled pink to raise money so more people can learn life saving skills

Kai was one of several pupils who were taught a range of skills by Millie's Trust at Padiham Primary School.
When he heard that the trust was set up by Joanne and Dan Thompson after their baby daughter, Millie, died at just nine months old after choking on food at nursery, Kai decided he wanted to do something to help.

Kai (11) asked family and friends to sponsor him during the daily Mile A Day routine the children do everyday at the school to keep fit.
And Kai even went a step further by dressing in pink, the Millie's Trust colour, to walk the five miles and raise £81 which will go towards first aid training.
Kai said: "Everyone in the country and the world should learn first aid because you could come across an emergency at any time and I am glad I now have the knowledge to help someone if they need it."
