Owner of Barrowford's Presentation Cards and Gifts has fund raising for charity wrapped up
Barrowford gift shop owner Andrea Pinder has fundraising for Rosemere Cancer Foundation all wrapped up after donating £1,000 to the charity.
Andrea raised the donation by offering customers to her award-winning store, Presentations Cards and Gifts Ltd in Halstead Lane, a free gift-wrapping service on their purchases. In return, they had the option of making a donation to Rosemere.
Andrea said: “No gift leaves here unwrapped unless the customer wishes to wrap it themselves. I buy all the paper and ribbons and do the

wrapping. Customers then have the option of making a donation that goes to Rosemere. I am very grateful to all those who donate as it’s a service that is ongoing.”
Andrea has been wrapping for Rosemere since 2023 and over this time and with this year’s donation, has raised an impressive £3,000. As
well as the donation to Rosemere, Andrea has also supported both Pendleside Hospice and Pancreatic Cancer UK this year.
Sue Swire, fundraising manager for Rosemere Cancer Foundation, said: “Our thanks to Andrea and all her customers for this fantastic donation. “Gift wrapping is a real skill that a lot of us find a challenge so I’m sure Andrea’s service is much appreciated, not just by ourselves.”
Keen cyclist Andrea is a longstanding Rosemere Cancer Foundation supporter and no stranger to using her hobby to help her raise further funds
for the charity. She has undertaken grueling sponsored cycle challenges in India and Cuba to raise funds as well as tackled peaks and troughs closer to home as a participant in the annual Ribble Valley Ride.
