'Mano-Pause-Padel' event at Pendle Padel Club will help couples navigate menopause
To mark World Menopause Day two wellbeing coaches have joined forces to host a special event.
‘Mano-Pause-Padel’ is the brainchild of menopause coach Carrie Hill, of Burnley based Restore Her Wellness, and Julie Barrow of Discover Health. Simonstone based Julie is a nutritionist, mental health coach and PT.
The event takes place at Pendle Padel Club in Brierfield on Sunday, October 18, from noon to 3pm.

Carrrie and Julie came together as they are acutely aware that menopause affects more than just women, it can impact relationships. So the duo hope the event will bring couples together for a few games of padel, connection, wellbeing and honest conversations.
Carrie said: “ Both myself and Julie are huge advocates for women's health and we are both navigating perimenopause.
“We believe that educating men on menopause, and also opening up conversations about how they can perhaps feel confused too when they see the person they love struggling, is important for them to understand what's happening.
“It will be a fabulous opportunity to come together, have a great game of padel in a welcoming space, meet new friends and leave feeling more knowledgeable and empowered.
“It promises to be an interactive, inspiring afternoon that gives couples the opportunity to try something new whilst learning how to support one another. No previous experience of playing padel is necessary, all abilities are welcome.”
Goody bags, donated by event sponsor Elenzia, will be handed out and there is a raffle to raise cash for two charities, MIND and The Menopause charity. Tickets for the event are available by clicking HERE.
