Hide AdBurnley Council leader Coun. Charlie Briggs said: "It's vital that we continue to test, test and test some more to keep on top of the coronavirus and keep the number of positive cases in our borough as low as possible.
"It's important that we all remain vigilant. We've seen a small increase in the number of positive cases in recent days and the way to keep on top of this is to get tested so we control any spread of the virus.
"The support from our residents has been wonderful and has played a massive role in helping get our borough out of local restrictions. We want to stay that way and testing will help us do that."
The Mayor of Padiham, Coun. Howard Hudson, said: “I would urge residents of Padiham to take advantage of the testing facility over this weekend. I also would like to thank residents of Padiham for adhering to the Government guidelines for COVID-19, especially during the local lockdown, which does make everyone’s life difficult.
