Official Government figures show that since mid-January the rate of positive Covid cases per 100,000 people in Burnley has been falling.
Burnley has now been in a lockdown for a month and the latest figures show 10 out of 12 neighbourhoods have seen a drop in infections, with Hapton & Lowerhouse and Cliviger, Worsthorne & Lane Bottom seeing cases rise.
Here we reveal which neighbourhoods have seen the biggest drop in case rates per between January 22 to January 29.
1. Habergham & Ightenhill
Habergham & Ightenhill has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 78%, in the seven days to January 29.
2. Whittlefield & Rose Grove
Whittlefield & Rose Grove has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 60%, in the seven days to January 29.
3. Queensgate
Queensgate has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 52%, in the seven days to January 29.
4. Rose Hill & Burnley Wood
Rose Hill & Burnley Wood has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 48%, in the seven days to January 29.
