The latest ONS figures show that 280 Covid deaths were recorded in Burnley and Padiham between March 2020 and February 2021.
We've analysed the figures to show the areas of Burnley hardest hit by Covid one year on.
Deaths "due to Covid-19" only include deaths where coronavirus was the underlying (main) cause. Deaths "due to other causes" includes any deaths where the underlying cause was not Covid-19; this category may include some deaths where the underlying cause was not Covid, but it was mentioned on the death certificate as a contributory cause of death.
