Virtual dance lessons for Burnley classrooms are a step ahead
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
The new curriculum uses innovative technology, enabling its professional dance teachers to deliver the lessons and demonstrate the moves virtually through video, which is accessible via an easy to use online platform.
The content for this term is ‘social distance friendly’ and includes street dance, cheerleading, acro dance (an energetic combo of acrobatic arts, dance and gymnastics). So, children receive the benefits of dance. And at the same time stay safe in their ‘bubble’.

Primary Dance UK founder Sarah Hawthorne said “Primary Dance UK is committed to enabling every pupil to dance in school, and in these difficult and strange times, pupils need the physical and mental release of engaging dance sessions.
"Our supporting videos are easy to set up at the front of any classroom or hall with a projector, and pupils can fully engage in the dance lesson while maintaining a safe distance from others.”
