5. Baines School
Baines School in Poulton-le-Fylde sent home all Year 11 pupils on Wednesday (September 23) after a pupil from the year group tested positive for Covid-19. The school says this will allow them to follow the guidance from the Department for Education and Public Health England to identify "students who have been in close proximity to the individual"
6. Montgomery Academy
Montgomery Academy in All Hallows Road told a number of pupils to self-isolate on Wednesday, September 23, after receiving confirmation that there have been two positive cases of Covid-19 within the school. All other pupils have been asked to continue to attend "if they remain well."
7. Saint Aidan's Church of England High School
A number of children at Saint Aidan's Church of England High School in Cart Gate, Preesall were sent home on September 23, 2020, after one pupil was confirmed to have coronavirus. Headteacher Andy Smith said: "At this stage we believe this is an isolated case and in accordance with Government guidelines school will be open as normal for all other students tomorrow.
8. Breck Primary School
Breck Primary School in Poulton has told a number of pupils to self-isolate after confirming a positive case of Covid-19 yesterday (September, 23, 2020). "Headteacher Cheryl Brindle said: "We have been advised of a positive case and, following our robust procedures, everyone belonging to the same bubble has been asked to self-isolate.
