Star pupils win War on Waste poster competition in Pendle
Pendle children have created posters to encourage people to reduce their waste.
Pupils from West Street, Lord Street, Primet, and Park Primaries entered a design competition, War on Waste, hosted by Colne in Bloom.
It aims to remind people to “Reuse, Recycle, Reduce” and lower their waste to zero.
From more than 190 entries, six winners were selected. Ruby, Emma, Hannah, Marnie, Jannat, and Tom were invited to Colne Town Hall to receive a certificate and an £8 book token to spend at the Book Shop in Colne.
