Miss Tormey said: “Rudy and Drew are our pioneers. They have experience of a forest school and so have been helping me get ours off the ground.

“I am currently on a Forest School Leader course and they we plan to transform our outdoor area with Rudy and Drew’s help.

“We want to have a fire pit, hammocks, as well as wildlife and planting space. We have even talked about having animals, although that’s far into the future.

“We believe it’s important to encourage pupils to go outdoors, connect with nature and appreciate their surroundings.”

Rudy said: “I like being outside and I like building things so I am enjoying being involved.”
