The young enterprise team at Blessed Trinity RC College are promoting and selling their own hand-made products. Calling themselves 'Simply Seasonal' they have using their knitting skills to make a range of gifts, including pumpkins in time for Hallowe'en.

Managing Director and Year 10 pupil Wayes Iftikhar said: "We had to come up with ideas to make money and so we thought doing something seasonal will work as it will keep us going all year around.

"For Hallowe'en, we have bought and made products which we will sell in school. Our team has been busy knitting, especially pumpkins!"

To add to their success, the young entrepreneurs recently finished runners-up in a national youth enterprise competition, competing against student companies from across the country. The team are also preparing to take part in a Dragon's Den style project at the Trafford Centre soon.
