The Themis team are helping employers recruit competent care staff and train a new generation of employees with the latest skills and knowledge in this rewarding work.
Neil Burrows, Director of Themis at Burnley College, said: “Qualified and upskilled employees are a positive workforce for any business. As we move forward from the Covid-19 pandemic the importance of highly-trained care staff has never been greater and recognising the importance of meeting industry standards.
“At Themis, we understand that to work in care is to make a positive difference to someone’s life, whether it be physical, emotional or practical – and it is important that our adult care workers have the right values and behaviours, developing competences and skills to provide high quality compassionate care and support.

upskill existing staff and progress their training and qualifications.”
The adult care worker level two apprenticeship is for frontline staff who help adults with care and
support needs to achieve their goals and live as independently and safely as possible.

Hide AdIt is the ideal entry level qualification into this profession and is a 15-month course.
The lead adult care worker advanced apprenticeship is a level three qualification which gives apprentices additional responsibilities for their role, giving them the confidence to supervise the work of others.
Neil Burrows added: “All Themis apprenticeships are delivered by our industry-expert, experienced tutors and
the theory and practical elements, delivered in both the workplace and our award-winning campus, will train you to be the best of the best.
