Plans submitted to convert former New Inn pub into home

Plans have been submitted to convert the former New Inn pub in Foulridge into a home.

The public house, which closed in 2024, is located on Skipton Old Road and has stood vacant since shutting its doors.

The application proposes converting the existing building into a four-bedroom home, alongside a number of minor external alterations. These include the removal of a flat-roofed rear extension, changes to windows and doors, and the creation of private outdoor space and parking.

Planning documents state the pub was marketed for more than a year without success and argue the proposals would secure the long-term future of the building.
