Pendleside Hospice celebrating its partners who each donate £1,000 annually
Pendleside Hospice is celebrating its partners.
The charity welcomed its Pendleside Partners on Wednesday, December 10th to formally present their branded plaques as a symbol of their commitment to supporting hospice care.

The plaques form part of the Pendleside Partners scheme, launched in May, which invites businesses to support the hospice through an annual donation of £1,000.
Partners were welcomed into the hospice with turkey sandwiches and mulled wine as a small token of appreciation. As part of the scheme, each Partner also has a branded heart, which will be displayed in a large cabinet at the front of the charity next year.

Louisa Mayor, Pendleside’s Head of Income Generation, said: “We are incredibly grateful to all of our Pendleside Partners for their commitment and generosity. Their support makes a real difference to the patients and families we care for every day.
“Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans for the scheme, and by the end of 2026, we aim to grow our Pendleside Partners community to 50 local businesses.”
Partners include Barnfield Construction, Burnley College, Daisy, Euravia, Fort Vale, Nova Electrical, PM+M, Razzamataz, Stortec Engineering, and TCB Signage.
Neil Welsh, Business Development Manager at PM+M, said the company is “delighted” to become Pendleside Partners.

“With a team of around 190 people primarily based in East Lancashire, we have seen first-hand the care, compassion, and support delivered within our community, including the care received by our former colleague, Faye, who was supported as an in-patient through her final days.”
