New self-service McDonald's

The Burnham Gate McDonald’s restaurant near the Weavers’ Triangle is undergoing a transformation following local business owners Victor and Karen Arciniega’s investment.

The restaurant will also feature the option for customers to have their food delivered direct to their table after ordering from the new digital kiosks.

Free to use tablets have been installed at some tables for customers who want to check their newsfeed and emails or play the latest games.

Victor and Karen Arciniega, who operate three restaurants in the area, including the restaurant on Burnham Gate, said: “Technology has a huge role to play in all walks of life, including our customers’ eating out experience, so the new technology we’ve introduced recognises the way people live their lives today.”
