easyCoffee has opened in St James's Street offering fresh bean coffee from just £1.

The business, part of the easy family of brands (easyJet, easyHotel, easyGym, easyCar) is the latest coffee shop to come to Burnley, and will occupy the unit formerly used by Rhode Island, which recently moved several doors down.

Chief executive Nathan Lowry said: "I am delighted that we are opening our latest shop in Burnley. It follows hard on the heels of our shop in Blackburn, which opened only three months ago and has been so well received by the people of the North-West.

"We are sure it will be a major success and it is our largest to date with 75 comfortable seats, free wifi and a broad range of food, fresh pastries and a great range of coffees, teas and luxury Thornton's hot chocolate, exclusively at easyCoffee."
