Oddie's Bakery announced today that 10 of its shops will be opening their doors on Thursday for the first time since they were all closed when the lockdown began in March.
The closure of all the branches marked a first in the history of the business since it was founded in 1905.

"The decision was made because I did not feel like we could trade in a way that kept our staff and customers safe."
Some changes have been introduced to keep staff and customers safe and there are restricted opening hours from 9am to 3pm on weekdays and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays.
The range of products available has also been reduced and there are less staff working in the shop so that efforts can be made to maintain social distancing.

"Thank you for all the messages of support we have received so far, they are very much appreciated.
