Miller Homes announces how £1.3m contribution to Cliviger area will be spent
Housebuilder Miller Homes has revealed how a £1.3m contribution to the Cliviger community will be spent with work on their 125-home development now well under way.
A total of £980,832.54 will go towards improving education services in the local area, and a further £396,355 will be contributed by Miller Homes to off-site affordable housing.
Alongside this, five of the homes will be available at a discount to market value, accessible to those who meet the eligibility requirements of needing affordable housing.
The Calders, located in Red Lees Road, launched earlier this month and features a selection of three and four-bedroom properties.
Of the 10 initial homes released, seven were reserved online on launch day. The sales cabin is expected to open this weekend.
Nicola Inganni, regional sales manager for Miller Homes in the North-West, said: “We’re pleased to be bringing contributions of over £1m to the area and look forward to undertaking further work with the Cliviger community as work on The Calders development progresses.”
