The owners of a landmark Burnley pub which has just undergone a facelift are looking for a new landlord.

Admiral Taverns have put the tenancy of the George IV in Padiham Road on the market.

The George IV has the benefit of three-bedroom accommodation on the first floor.

The pub is described as being "a traditional community pub serving the local and wider community. Weekday trade tends to revolve around darts and pool teams".

The particulars go on to say that "the food offering is under-developed at the moment, but with the right operator a traditional menu of pub favourites would promote more lunch and tea-time trade particularly during the week".
