Business is blooming for this Clitheroe florist celebrating its 30th anniversary

Business is blooming for a Clitheroe florist celebrating its 30th anniversary.

The Flower Shop in Wellgate is marking the milestone with a charity floral demonstration on Friday, November 14th at the Old School Rooms on Lowergate from 6-30pm.

Owners Linda and Jim Hardman decided to support The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the Motor Neurone Disease Association in memory of two colleagues, Paul and Graham, who they lost to these illnesses.

Jim said: “We are both so very proud of reaching this milestone and could not have done it without the wonderful team we have been lucky to work with over those 30 years.”

The pair took over the shop in 1995, tripling its size and earning a reputation for creating beautiful arrangements. Over three decades, they have provided flowers for nearly 3,000 weddings and delivered tens of thousands of bouquets, plants, arrangements, and funeral tributes throughout the area.

Tickets for the event and raffle are available at the shop or online at www.theflower-shop.co.uk
