Visit Burnley’s newest bar

CITY centre daytime dining has arrived in Burnley with the opening of The Loft in Bull Street.

The new bistro-style bar serving hot and cold food, wine and cocktails, has opened in Burnley town centre after a year-long refurbishment.

The outdoor covered heated dining area and indoor bar will offer something unique in Burnley and is designed to cater for office workers and shoppers alike serving food from 10-30 a.m.

Fresh home-cooked tasty food includes paninis, jacket potatoes, salads and sandwiches prepared by the chef.

At night, the bar, catering strictly for over 21s, will serve a selection of wines, cocktails and bottled beers from around the world. It will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to late.

Owner Jimmy Nelson said: “The emphasis will be on service. We don’t feel there is anywhere else like this Burnley. We also have a lot of exciting ideas for the future.

“We have a large projection screen which will soon be the centrepiece of our themed film and curry nights.

“We wanted to diversify the business, which was previously the Rooftop Bar. The Loft offers bistro-style eating at very affordable prices.

“It will be a comfortable alternative with a city centre atmosphere.”

The Loft is situated in Bull Street, next to the Burnley Express.
