Students from Burnley's Act One Beginners' Theatre School taking to stage for production of Les Miserables
A group of talented young performers from Burnley are preparing to take to a professional stage for a production of one of the industry’s best known musicals.
Senior students from Act One Beginners’ theatre school will stage Les Miserables (school edition) at the Blackburn Empire Theatre.
The opening night is on Friday (July 17) at 7pm with performances on Saturday and Sunday at 1pm and 7pm.

Rehearsals have been in place for nine months, at the school’s new home in Hall Street in Burnley, and the production follows on from the school’s sell out production of ‘Matilda’ in June. For the first time the actors will be accompanied by a 13 piece orchestra.
And it will also be a moving occasion for some of the students as it will be their final performance as many of them are leaving to go to theatre school. For tickets please go to the Empire Theatre website.
