Rare chance to join acclaimed singers

Highly acclaimed vocal group The A Cappella Singers currently has vacancies in three of its sections.

It is seeking to increase the size of the choir and it is a very rare occasion that such vacancies ever exist.

The singers are drawn from the Ribble Valley, Hyndburn and Blackburn areas and there are now vacancies in the soprano, alto and tenor sections. Potential new members must be able to read music and be prepared for a simple a simple audition after they have been to several rehearsals to see if it is for them. The group rehearses in Wilpshire on a Wednesday evening.

The A Cappella Singers perform several concerts throughout the year in various locations and follow the school holiday patterns, taking half-term breaks and school holiday periods.

On Saturday March 23rd The A Cappella Singers will make a welcome return to St Peter and St Paul’s Church in Rishton for a concert of Easter Harmony Music.

The singers have been to this same venue on several occasions and have always been well received by the congregation and audience. The church is installing a new heating system and proceeds from this concert will help in the appeal.
