Mark Radcliffe to appear at Burnley Rock & Blues Festival

Mark Radcliffe is one of the icons of the British music scene, star of BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and 6 Music he will be appearing at the Burnley Rock & Blues Festival Guest Stage on Sunday 5th May.

He has been making waves at festivals and gigs throughout the country with his blues line-up ‘The Big Figures’, and will be headlining ‘Upstairs at the Inn On The Wharf’ around 9 pm.

Mark has been a DJ with the BBC for over 20 years, and has established himself as one of the most successful DJ’s the UK has ever produced. Bolton born Mark has also established himself as a successful writer with four published books and another on the way. His band deliver a lively set of rhythm and blues and are set to take the re-launched Burnley festival out with a bang.

The ‘Guest Stage’ on Sunday also features Neurode Surface, top local band who have appeared at numerous festivals in their own right, The Mentulls from Leeds, and two acoustic acts Phil Johan and up and coming singer Lucy Zinns.

Tickets are limited for this gig, they are only available from the Mechanics Box office or the Inn on the Wharf direct @ £10.
