The firm was set up in 1984 on the Colorado River when a Grand Canyon river guide changed outdoor footwear forever by adding an ankle strap to his flip flops.

A simple, but effective move which saw the invention of the first sports sandal. To mark the milestone, Teva has launched an originals collection, with smart, but comfy shoes on offer for this summer.

The Original and the Original Universal are just what your feet need when you are looking forward to fun outdoors.

The Original Universal (pictured) is a classic design and features multiple points of adjustment, whereas the Original is just what is says, a webbing sports sandal design with a flip-flop and ankle strap combination.

Both styles come in bright summery colours and have been created by the original designer Nadine Marchal.
