Dragons Come To Towneley
Whilst fundraising for a Dragon Sculpture Trail the Friends of Towneley Park have installed a mini Dragon Trail in Thanet Lee Woods. You can collect a trail sheet from the Hall Foyer and off you go dragon spotting!
The trail is free, but you can make a donation towards a Dragon Sculpture Trail either on the Friends of Towneley website https://friendsofburnleyparks.org.uk/fotp/ or via the donation in the Hall Shop. The Friends are also looking for businesses to sponsor the Dragon Sculpture Trail and already have the support of Fort Vale and K Steels. The sculptor who is going to make the dragons is Sarah Mae Francis whose horse sculpture Enzo you may have seen on display at HAPPA throughout the summer.
The first story about the dragons 'Scout's Tears' is on sale in Towneley Hall Shop and all profits from the book will go towards a permanent Dragon Sculpture Trail.
