Burnley star Ashleigh set for stardom

“Overboard” comes courtesy of Burnley-born Ashleigh Wood whose fresh and unique tonal style brings with it the ability to add an extra dimension and real originality to her country rock style.

Now living in Kendal (although one of her biggest passions in life remains Burnley Football Club) Ashleigh has been singing since the age of 12, following in the footsteps of her grandma who was a country singer in her own right.

Producer Steve Reid said she has been developing her own unique style of music for the last few months and is now looking forward to an exciting future.

The song doesn’t follow a traditional ‘song’ format adding an original character and creating a truly original sound. She will be working in the studios over the coming weeks on her follow-up releases,

“The single is already sparking interest from producers of BBC Radio’s Introducing programmes and has initially received extremely positive comments from the industry.”
