Lincoln Pope is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his older brother and be a Sale Shark!
Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic College Year 10 student Lincoln proudly cheered on his brother Jake, 19, as he made his debut for Sale Sharks against Bath last weekend in the Aviva Premiership.
Jake is also a former Blessed Trinity student.
Lincoln, 15, is a prop or hooker, and has just signed up to the rugby union side’s Under 15 Academy.
“I had to pass a number of trials to be selected,” said Lincoln.
“I have played rugby since I was three.
“I started playing as I want to be better than my brother!
“We were all really proud when Jake made his debut at the weekend, all the family was watching.
“I want to do that and, at the moment, I train at Carrington every Monday night.”
