Online bookmakers SkyBet have reported that they have suspended betting on Joey Barton’s next destination.

The betting conglomerates confirmed on social media site Twitter that they had ‘seen large money for Burnley at short odds’ after the former QPR midfielder’s odds plummeted to 1/5 for him to move to Turf Moor.

The Tweet was sent out at 12-42 p.m. today in response to a query from @grahamwhufc.
