Burnley re-emerge as favourites to land Hendrick

Burnley have re-emerged as favourites to land Derby County midfielder Jeff Hendrick.

Hull City had looked to be in pole position for the Republic of Ireland star, having had talks over a Â£10m deal.

Burnley have had three offers turned down over the summer for the 24-year-old, who is currently away on international duty, but have moved to intercept that deal, by topping the Tigers' offer.
