Burnley-born soldier Cpl Ben Simpson spoke to the Burnley Express about his huge pride in taking part in the homecoming parade.

Cpl Simpson, who has served in the British Army for 15 years, was supported by relatives including grandmother Sheila Hawthornthwaite, cousin Gemma Pickard and her little boy Ethan (3).
