Rallying call to help brave fire crews tackling moor fires
The blaze on Winter Hill, near Bolton, which has a television transmission mast that broadcasts signals to millions of people, has been declared a "major incident"
Seven square miles of land between Tameside and Oldham has gone up in flames and blanketed the Greater Manchester region and beyond in smoke and ash.

Hide AdAs emergency services continue to tackle the fires, Ribble Valley woman Katei Blezard is urging local folk to show their true Clitheroe spirit and help to donate essential food and drink items.
She said: "Trinity Methodist Church, Parson Lane, is a drop off point from 9am to12pm tomorrow (Sunday).
"The volunteers have access to control points to deliver these items direct to firefighters, gamekeepers, farmers, mountain rescue and other volunteers."
