A donation of £1,000 has been made to Pendleside Hospice by the Ghausia Mosque, located on Colne Road in Burnley.

The money, raised by the women and children of Ghausia Mosque during their annual community fundraiser, was raised in recognition of the Hospice’s good work.

Afrasiab Anwar said: “Each year we donate a share of all proceeds to a local charity. The Mosque recognise the work of the Hospice, and therefore each year donate money to Pendleside”.
