Burnley MP Julie Cooper celebrates
Labour's Julie Cooper has been elected Burnley MP for a second time.

Mrs Cooper polled 18,832 votes, finishing 6,353 ahead of Conservative's Paul White

Gordon Birtwistle (Lib Dems) came third, polling 6,046 votes. He was followed by UKIP's Tom Commis with 2,472 votes and Laura Fisk, of the Green Party, with 461.

Turnout was 62.3%.
