Lost sheep found in Burnley road now in care of RSPCA

Police in Burnley had to take a rather unusual 'client' into custody earlier today.

A sheep was found wandering in the Cog Lane area so officers took the animal ,which was in a rather poor state, to the RSPCA.

The RSPCA can be contacted on 0300 123 4999 quoting police log 0223 of 10/01.
