In winter, some wild animals may search for warmth and sustenance within our homes.

But, if you find a squirrel in your attic, or mouse in the kitchen, don’t call in pest controllers. The traps and poisons they use can cause agony to animals and do not solve the underlying reasons why that animal moved in.

Instead, take a few steps to encourage the animal to move on.

Animal Aid has free fact sheets to help. Call 01732 364546.
