Firefighters were called out to deal with a chip pan blaze at a house in Burnley last night.
The blaze was out by the time crews from Burnley arrived at the property in Scarlett Street just before 10pm, but they remained there for 40 minutes to make the scene safe using a fan unit.
One casualty was assessed by ambulance crews at the scene.
