Voluntary workers have been giving the Leeds and Liverpool Canal a huge clean-up in Brierfield.

Volunteers from community groups across Pendle – together with Pendle Council and the Canal & River Trust – carried out a clean-up of the canal itself, using the Canal & River Trust’s workboat and working along the towpaths, too.
