Triple sporting success for students to celebrate
Students at a Burnley primary school have got plenty of reasons to jump up and down in celebration, after winning a hat-trick of sporting awards.
Holy Trinity C of E Primary were the proud winners of the Burnley Sports Awards Community School of the Year for developing a wide range of curricular out of school activities that are demanding, innovative and fun.
The school topped this off with two other accolades which are the School Games Gold kitemark for the excellent provision of PE and sport and they were also named as the winners of the Burnley Schools Sports Partnership "Big Engagement" award.
