Police are hunting a conman who is targeting pensioners in the Gannow and Ightenhill areas of Burnley.
The man, believed to be wearing hi-vis clothing, is approaching elderly people's home claiming to have carried out building work.
He is described as having a ginger beard.
Anybody who witnesses anything suspicious is urged to ring 101 or even 999.
