An 'idiotic' drunk driver who chose to get behind the wheel rather than ordering a taxi ended up crashing into a number of parked vehicles and a garden wall.

Lancashire Road Police posted on social media about the incident in Barrowford.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "Idiotic driver of this Audi in Barrowford wouldn't get a taxi, but instead drove home drunk crashing into a number of parked cars and a garden wall.

"Blew 134 at the roadside and 128 in custody. To court for a well deserved ban. #T2TacOps #dontdrinkanddrive"
