The leader of Burnley Borough Council has condemned the Manchester terror attack as a book of condolences opens at Burnley Town Hall.

Coun. Mark Townsend, leader of Burnley Council, said: "Our thoughts and sympathies go out to the victims and families of all those affected by last night’s senseless and cowardly attack at the Manchester Arena.

"A book of condolences has been opened in the reception of Burnley Town Hall."
